"We service our community by promoting health and providing high quality healthcare with compassion and respect."
Boundary Community Hospital is located in the small rural town of Bonners Ferry, Idaho which lies 30 miles south of the Canadian Border. Our community is surrounded by the majestic Selkirk, Purcell and Cabinet Mountain Ranges. With the beautiful Kootenai River flowing through the heart of our town, it is easy to see why we are living in the Crown of the Gem State.

Boundary Community Hospital is a 20 bed Critical Access Hospital with an attached 36 bed Extended Care Facility (Skilled Nursing Facility). Our hospital is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and licensed by the State of Idaho, Department of Health and Welfare. We have 15 physicians on our active medical staff and we also provide accommodations for specialty physicians in Cardiology, General Surgery, and Orthopedics.

Boundary Community has a well trained and highly skilled staff. We are pleased to offer a full diagnostic imaging department that includes X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound, Mammography and Bone Densitometry services with an MRI available on a weekly basis. Our Rehabilitative Services Department provides speech, physical and occupational therapies on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The Emergency Services Department is staffed 24 hours a day by both a physician and a registered nurse. Our Laboratory Services Department is staffed by a Phlebotomist and Medical Technologists 7 days a week.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions about the hospital or other health issues.
