Community Health
Community Health Nursing is provided to our community with updates regarding chronic illness and preventive wellness. This service has provided outreach services to the farms, schools, businesses and the general population of Boundary County. The community health nurse facilitates classes for such diverse groups as CPR, Safe Sitters for beginning babysitters and First Aid. Educational classes are coordinated through the hospital's education department and include Certified Nurses' Assistants courses and LPN training via interactive television between the five North Idaho hospitals and North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene.
